At the invitation of the Muslim Council of Elders, the prelate of the Armenian Prelacy in the UAE and Qatar, H.E. Mesrob Arch. Sarkissian, delivered a speech in Arabic on solidarity and coexistence on Saturday evening, May 4th, 2024, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center.
Arch. Mesrob began by conveying the pontifical greetings of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I and expressing support for interfaith cooperation. He then elaborated on the concept of solidarity in life, particularly within the Emirates, highlighting the means and evidence for fostering and maintaining solidarity. He emphasized the importance of public understanding of all religions and the crucial role of family, school, and youth in preserving society.
Arch. Mesrob concluded his speech by expressing gratitude to the government and rulers of the UAE for allowing all religions to establish their religious institutions in the country.
