On Thursday, September 23rd, 2021, George Boujikian, Lebanon’s new Minister of Industry in the recently formed government and who is of Armenian descent, paid his first visit to His Holiness Catholicos Aram I to receive his blessing.
Minister Boujikian gave a brief outline of his work following his appointment. In turn, His Holiness expressed his appreciation for Minister’s commitment to serve, stressing that the Ministry has to play a key role in the development of the country’s economy, and expressed hope that he will move forward with his agenda accordingly.
