On Friday, August 13th, 2021, His Holiness Aram I received the Ambassador of Armenia to Lebanon Vahagn Atabekyan and the Ambassador of Lebanon to the Vatican Dr. Farid al-Khazen, respectively.
The Ambassador of Armenia and His Holiness discussed issues pertaining to Armenia’s internal affairs and to the Armenia-Diaspora relations, while with the Ambassador of Lebanon to the Vatican, His Holiness discussed the initiatives following the Lebanese Christian leaders’ meeting in the Vatican. In this regard, Dr. al-Khazen had convened with the President of Lebanon and Patriarch Al-Rai.
