On Wednesday, June 23rd, 2021, His Holiness Aram I received Nadine Maenza, the Chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF). They discussed freedom of religion, human rights and issues related to US international relations. In this regard, His Holiness expressed his vision and offered suggestions. The Catholicos also shed light on the current situation between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the crisis in Lebanon.
Following the meeting, Nadine Maenza visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Chapel and the Armenian Genocide Orphans’ “Aram Bezikian” Museum.
