On Sunday, June 7th, 2021, His Holiness Aram I presided over the Divine Liturgy during which Bishop Magar Ashkarian conducted the ordination of acolytes and subdeacons, at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias. V. Rev. Fr. Kevork Karageozian acted as the sponsoring priest.
Following the ordination, in his sermon, Bishop Magar exhorted the newly ordained to commit to their calling by listening to the wisdom of God. He concluded by praying that the Holy spirit guides them in their service, and finally, expressed his gratitude to His Holiness and congratulated him, as well as the Dean of the Seminary, the teachers, parents and the faithful present.
At the end of the liturgy, the newly ordained acolytes and the subdeacons received the blessing of His Holiness Aram I.
