On Tuesday March 23^rd, 2021, the Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Vahagn Atabekyan visited His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.

During the meeting, they talked about the internal situation in Armenia and Artsakh, the Armenia-Diaspora relations, as well as the current challenges facing Lebanon. His Holiness informed the ambassador that issues pertaining the role of Turkey in the region in general and in the Artsakh war in particular have been discussed with the Saudi Arabia Ambassador during his visit the day before. Additionally, His Holiness expressed hope that Saudi Arabia would contribute to the issue of return of Armenian Prisoners of Wars in Azerbaijan.
