On the 10th and 11th of February 2021, the feast of St. Vartan and His Companions was observed at the Catholicosate of Cilicia, presided over by His Holiness Catholicos Aram I. The special “Nakhadonag” service was held Wednesday on the eve of the feast, and Divine Liturgy was offered on Thursday, followed by a concert performed by the “Armash” Choir of the Armenian Theological Seminary, at St. Mary Monastery in Bikfaya.

Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian offered the message of the feast. Referencing the second letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians, where St. Paul invites them to examine themselves to see whether they are in faith, Archbishop Shahan underlined the imperative of individual and collective self evaluation bearing in mind self correction.
