The President of the ARF (Tashnak) party, Hagop Khatcherian, and his delegation met with His Holiness Aram I at the Monastery in Bikfaya. Hagop Pakradouni, member of the Lebanese Parliament also attended the meeting.

The delegation briefed the Catholicos on the meetings they had held with the President of Lebanon, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of Parliament.

After thanking the president and representatives of the Central Committee of ARF, the Catholicos emphasized the urgency of cooperation among all Armenian political parties in order to strengthen the internal unity of the community and protect them from external conflicts. He then thanked them and all institutions of the Armenian diaspora who have been helping the Syrian Armenian community.
