His Holiness Catholicos Aram I declared 2021 “the year of Artsakh.” The Pontifical Encyclical was read at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias by Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian during the Divine Liturgy. The Pontifical Encyclical was also read in all Armenian Orthodox prelacies and parish churches under the jurisdiction of the Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia on Sunday, January 10th, 2021.
