On Wednesday, September 9th, 2020, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I received the Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Mr. Haykak Arshamyan, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lebanon H.E. Vahagn Atabekyan.
They discussed the humanitarian aid supplied from the Republic of Armenian to Lebanon and especially to the Armenian community following the Beirut explosion.
The Catholicos briefed on the situation in the community and the revitalization efforts addressing the needs of the community, as well as commended the relief aid allocated by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund to the Armenian communities in Lebanon and Syria for the third time in a year.
Note that the aid will be distributed to Armenian school teachers and staff, as well as to cater the health needs of Syrian Armenian community members effected by the Covid-19.
