On Monday, August 17th, 2020, the representative of Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church visited His Holiness Aram I in St. Mary Monastery in Bikfaya.

He transmitted the greetings of the Patriarch, as well as extended a letter of condolence on the occasion of the Beirut Blast. In the letter, Patriarch Kirill also expresses his solidarity to the Armenians in Lebanon.

V. Rev. Fr. Hrant Tahanian, Ecumenical Officer of the Catholicosate, was present at the meeting.

Note that the same day. His Holiness received a condolence letter from the spiritual leader of Greek Orthodox Church.
