MARKING THE FEAST OF THE FOUNDERS OF THE ARMENIAN CHURCH

This year, the feast of the founders of the Armenian Church: the apostles St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew, was marked on December 1st, 2019. On this occasion a Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church of the Catholicosate, in Antelias. Presided over by His Holiness Aram I and celebrated by V. Rev. Fr. Vahridge Gharakhanian.

 

During his sermon, Fr. Vahridge talked about the lives and mission of the two apostles, who are the first evangelizers of Armenia, and were martyred there. He said that it is required to have the Will of Christ today in order to spread the Christian truth, and invited the faithful to renew their Christian and rededicate themselves to our Lord.
