At the invitation of The Old Catholic Church of the Netherlands His Holiness Aram I departed to the Netherlands. He will give two lectures on ecumenism and the Middle East and preside over a meeting aimed at discussion of theological and socio-ethical issues.

The meeting brings together theologians of the Old Catholic Church and the Armenian Church, Catholicosate of Cilicia.

V. Rev. Fr. Hrant Tahanian, Director of the Ecumenical Relations Department, V. Rev. Fr. Boghos Tinkjian, Dean of the Seminary, V. Rev. Fr. Hovagim Panjarjian, Director of the Information and Communication department, as well as Ms. Teny Pirri-Simonian, Ecumenical Representative of the Armenian Church in Switzerland, are accompanying the Catholicos in the Netherlands.

In Switzerland, His Holiness Aram I will hold meetings regarding the lawsuit for the return of the Catholicosate’s historical seat in Sis and the Syrian Crisis.
