On June 9^th, 2019, on the occasion of the feast of Pentecost, acolytes and sub-deacons ordination was conducted at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias. His Holiness Aram I presided over the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Magar Ashkarian performed the ordination and Rev. Fr. Oshin Chvalertanian served as Patron of the Living.

In his sermon, Bishop Magar talked about the feast and introduced the message of the feast in the light of today. He called upon the faithful to renew themselves with the Holy Spirit and through it be empowered with Godly wisdom and strength. Next, he exhorted the newly ordained 11 acolytes and 5 sub-deacons to always remain zealous and meek in their service. Finally, Bishop Magar expressed his gratitude to His Holiness Aram I and congratulated him, as well as the head of the Seminary, teachers, parents and the faithful on the occasion of the ordination.

At the end of the liturgy, the newly ordained acolytes and the sub-deacons accompanied by the ordainer and the sponsoring priest, met with His Holiness Aram I, who blessed them.
