On Monday, June 3^rd, 2019, His Holiness Aram I received Armenians from Greece and Cyprus, accompanied by Archbishop Gomidas Ohanian.

The guests had visited Lebanon to participate in a conference on the Armenian communities in Greece and Cyprus, organized by the Haigazian University.  

The meeting was an opportunity to present His Holiness the challenges of the above mentioned communities and inform him about their forthcoming plans and projects.

In turn, His Holiness welcomed the bond between the Armenians of Greece and Cyprus with our church and community organizations, and stressed the importance of re-organizing and reviving our communities. The Catholicos also answered the questions paused regarding the mission of the Armenian Church, Catholicosate of Cilicia in the Armenia-Diaspora relations.
