On Saturday evening, April 20^th, 2019, His Holiness Aram I presided over the Easter Vigil Service (Jrakaluyts), at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral, in Antelias.

After the service, the Catholicos lit a candle from the Altar, signifying Christ’s Light, from which the faithful lit their candles and took with them to their homes.

Following this, the pontifical procession proceeded to the Main Hall of the Catholicosate where Blessing of the Home service was held.
