His Holiness Aram I warmly welcomed the Italian Parliament’s resolution that called on the Italian Government to officially recognize the Armenian Genocide. He stated that this step is the victory of justice against denialism and disinformation campaigns led by Turkey that aims to distort the truth. His Holiness continued that human rights should not be abused for the sake of geopolitical gains.
