On Saturday, March 16th, 2019, the 10th Inter-school Competition of the Khatchig Babigian Fund organized by the Educational-Armenological Department of the Catholicosate of Cilicia commenced at the Cilicia Museum. 45 students competed in the first round in Poetry Recitation. The second and final round for this category will be concluded on April 6th.

This year, 118 Intermediate and Secondary students from 17  schools are participating in three categories: Armenian language and literature (which will take place on March 23^rd), Armenian history, culture and religion(which will take place on March 30^th), and poetry recitation.

Given that His Holiness Aram I declared this year as the year of the Armenian Media, Armenian press and media will be included in this year’s competition.
