On Thursday, January 17^th, 2018, His Holiness Aram I received Bishop of Syrian Orthodox Church in Lebanon George Saliba accompanied by Archbishop Nareg Alemezian, the Prelate of Lebanon.  

They discussed topics such as strengthening the cooperation between the two sister churches and the participation of the oriental orthodox churches in the theological dialogues, as well as topics related to the Middle East Council of Churches.
