Under the high patronage of His Holiness Aram I, the “Shnorhali” choir of the Catholicosate of Cilicia held its Christmas Concert dedicated to the 45^th anniversary of its establishment, on Friday, January 4^th, at St. Joseph Church in Monot.

Rev. Fr. Zaven Najarian had chosen a repertoire of 18 hymns and Christmas songs in different languages sung by the around 50 members of the choir and accompanied by Maria Palazian-Parseghian on the piano and the orchestra of Violins.

At the end of the concert, His Holiness Aram I took the stage and commended the choir, who are composed of nonprofessional singers performing very professionally, he stated.

The concert started with the Lord’s Prayer and concluded with Cilicia anthem.
