On December 21^st, 2018, His Holiness Aram I, accompanied by members of the Brotherhood, visited the Armenian Sanatorium of Azounieh on the occasion of Christmas. The Catholicos was received by the director, the board members, the medical corps and the staff, as well as by the residents. The latter had prepared Christmas songs, hymns and poems to recite for His Holiness.

After the heartwarming welcome and cozy conversations, His Holiness addressed the residents with a Christmas message, stressing the importance of Love brought to the world with the birth of our Jesus Christ, and expressed his gratitude for the services the Sanatorium brings to the community. Finally, he blessed them all and, with the help of the clergy, distributed gifts.
