HIS HOLINESS ARAM I PAYS A CHRISTMAS VISIT TO THE ARMENIAN ELDERLY HOME

On December 19th, 2018, His Holiness Aram I, accompanied by priests of the brotherhood, paid a Christmas visit to the Armenian Elderly Home in Bourdj Hamoud, where they were received by Rev. Sebouh Terzian, the director of the Home, as well as by the Board of Trustees and the Ladies Auxiliary.

The Elderly welcomed the Catholicos singing Khortoort Medz: they had prepared Christmas songs and poems to perform in front of His Holiness. The visit also was an opportunity to have informal conversation with him.

Following this, His Holiness addressed the residents of the Home reminding them that they should continue being a perfect example for the new generation of families. He stressed that the Armenian Elderly Home is a community Home where familial love is prevalent. His Holiness also appealed to the community members to visit and support the Armenian Elderly Home. Finally, Aram I expressed his appreciation to the caregivers. “We are going to welcome Christmas with the Love that Jesus Christ brought into the world and ask His presence and Joy be abundant in our lives,” concluded His Holiness Aram I.
