On October 23rd, His Holiness Aram I received the International Commission for Anglican-Orthodox Theological Dialogue. The commission is composed of 18 members, including V. Rev. Boghos Tinkjian and V. Rev. Zareh Sarkissian representing the Catholicosate of Cilicia.
Among various topics discussed in the meeting, His Holiness underlined the importance of addressing contemporary socio-ethical issues, which have resulted to divisions among and within churches, and stressed the imperative of strengthening the cooperation among the churches.
In turn, the co-chairs expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received and exchanged thoughts with His Holiness on different matters.
