On Sunday. October 7th, 2018, requiem service was held at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias for the soul of Charles Aznavour. His Holiness Aram I presided over the service.
The last meeting between His Holiness and the international artist was three years ago. Note that the late Catholicos Khoren I had bestowed upon Aznavour the Prince Insignia in 1977.
