On August 24^th, 2018, His Holiness Aram I visited the Summer Bible Camp organized by the Christian Education Department of the Catholicosate of Cilicia. The Bible Camp is held in “Birds’ Nest” in Jbeil, from August 20^th to August 27^th.

Upon his arrival, His Holiness was received by the participants and welcomed by the Head of the Department, His Grace Bishop Meghrig Parikian, who thanked the Catholicos for his continuous attention and care to children’s and youth programs, and gave a brief account of the activities they have been doing thus far. Following this, the campers recited psalms and sang hymns they had learned at the camp,

In his address, His Holiness described the retreat as a process of immersion into the rich spiritual tradition of the Armenian Church and commended the parents for enrolling their children in this experience. Speaking to the youth, he expressed his joy at seeing them involved in the activities and thanked Bishop Meghrig and all the volunteers for their efforts in making the Bible Camp possible.

Following this, His Holiness joined the kids in their activities and they spent an unforgettable fun time together.
