On Friday, August 10th, 2018, under the auspices of His Holiness Aram I, the opening ceremony of the renovated “Nouneh and Ninareh Nazarian” library of the Armenian Theological Seminary took place. Present to the ceremony were the benefactors of the renovation Mr. Anoushavan and Mrs. Anahid Nazarian, and their daughters, Nouneh and Ninareh.
Delivering his speech, His Holiness Aram I commended Nazarians for their generosity, and underlined that although technology occupies an important place in our daily lives, libraries remain a vital component of students’ formation.
The ceremony also included a short program, where Nouneh and Ninare recited poems.
A the end of the ceremony, His Holiness Aram I presented Nazarians with a gift.
