On July 16th, 2018, His Holiness Aram I received Farid Elias Al-Khazen, Lebanon’s ambassador to the Vatican, in Bikfaya. One of the aims of the visit was to discuss Vatican’s position on Lebanon and the region. His Holiness gave Dr. Al-Khazen a brief account of the situation, as well as talked about the Christian-Muslim coexistence in the region and the International Community’s stance toward Lebanon.
