On Saturday, June 23rd, His Holiness Aram I received Fr. David Nazar, rector of the Pontifical Oriental Institute, in Bikfaya. One of the purposes of the visit was to learn about the challenges that the Christian communities in the Middles East are facing, as well as to consult about certain points regarding the mission of the Institute.

His Holiness Aram I, in turn, commended the mission of the Pontifical Oriental Institute, and expressed his opinions regarding the points Fr. Nazar raised.

It is worth mentioning that one of the priests of the Catholicosate will soon continue his education at the Pontifical Oriental Institute.
