On Sunday evening, June the 3rd, His Holiness Aram I held a phone conversation with Pago Sahakian, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, and expressed his concern in regards to the recent demonstrations occurring in the capital Stepanagerd.

President Sahakian briefed His Holiness about the situation and the motives behind the protests, while in turn, His Holiness expressed his support to the President and the people of Artsakh. Aram I stressed the importance of mutual understanding and prudence in resolving the challenges faced by the people, without harming the security of Artsakh.
