Under the supervision of His Holiness Aram I and the Cilicia Museum committee, Eshgianâs USD 100 000 donation will serve to renovate and reorganize the museum. Established in 1996, the museum encompasses a historical account of the Catholicosate: religious, archeological and cultural artifacts, relics and rescued treasures from the district of Cilicia exhibit the odyssey of the Catholicosate from its seat in Sis, where it was located before the Armenian Genocide, to Aleppo and to Antelias, itâs final destination and new home. The museum’s collection continues to grow thanks to the donations of new items.
