On Wednesday evening, May 2nd, 2018, His Holiness Aram I and Nikol Pashinyan held a consultation on the phone aimed at finding a political consensus to bring Armenia out of the prevailing crisis.

His Holiness saluted the peaceful popular movement in Armenia and praised Pashinyan for his efforts to overcome the crisis through constitutional measures and underlined that the continuation of the current situation could lead to distress. He stressed the importance of finding a rapid solution in the spirit of mutual understanding and tolerance, based on the national interests of Armenia. His Holiness Aram I also conveyed his visions on solving the situation to Nikol Pashinyan.

His Holiness Aram I held telephone conversations with the President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, His Holiness Karekin II and the Preisdent of Republic of Artsakh Pako Sahakian.
