On Thursday morning, Mr Zaven Khanjian, who is also the former Chairperson of the California Chapter of the United Diaspora Relief Committee for Armenians in Syria, met with His Holiness Aram I in Antelias. They discussed Armenia-diaspora relations and the situation in the Middle East. His Holiness explained a recently developed plan of action for the reconstruction and resettlement of Armenians, and he emphasized the importance of a coordinated response to the plan by all Armenian communities and organizations.
