31 August 2016. The Catholicosate of Cilicia was invited to attend the consultation on Global Communication Network held 25-26 August in Yerevan, Armenia. Organized by the Ministry of Diaspora of Armenia and the Yerevan State University, the consultation focused on the following issues: new media, networking and security in Armenia and the Diaspora.

Rev Bedros Manuelian, coordinator of the audio visual Department of the Catholicosate of Cilicia, attended the Conference and presented a paper on “The Catholicosate of Cilicia and the global communication networks.”

The conference concluded with the decision to create a Committee to facilitate and coordinate Armenian online programmes and networks.
