13 April 2016. On Wednesday at noon, Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, and Aram I, Catholicos of the Catholicosate of Cilicia, arrived in the Republic of Nagorno – Karabakh and were welcomed by Archbishop Barkev Mardirossian, the prelate, the clergy and government officials. After the official welcome, the two catholicoi met with Pako Sahakian, the President of the Republic, who briefed the two spiritual leaders on the aggressions and recent developments in the country.
