31 January 2016. Every year, on the Sunday preceding the last Sunday before the Great Lent, the clergy of the Catholicosate of Cilicia hold a special prayer service to remember the departed members of the brotherhood who had consecrated their lives to the service of the Church and the people.

This year as well, following the Holy Liturgy at the St Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias, the seminarians, members of the brotherhood and the faithful went in procession to the ‘Zarehian Musoleum,’ where the clergy who have died since the resettlement of the Catholicosate in Antelias, lay. His Holiness Aram I led the prayer service. This annual commemorative service is also an invitation to the living to recommit to the legacy of the departed and to serve God through the Church and the people.
