20 November 2015. On Friday Dr Michel Jalekh met with His Holiness Aram I in Antelias. The General Secretary first thanked the Catholicos and President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) for taking the time to attend the Executive Committee meeting and moderating sessions of the MECC in Egypt. Catholicos Aram I spoke of the importance of the MECC in the Middle East and assured the general secretary of the Catholicosate of Cilicia’s solid support.

Dr Jalekh then informed His Holiness of the forthcoming visit of a delegation from Switzerland led by the Roman Catholic Archbishop and the President of the Federation of Reformed Churches in Switzerland (FEPS).
