On Monday evening at the “Cilicia Museum,” His Holiness Aram I met with the students enrolled in the course on Icons, which is being organized by the Catholicosate for the second year. After welcoming them and thanking Rev Hovsep Ashkarian for helping the students learn the art of painting of Icons, the Catholicos explained the theology of Holy Pictures and their spiritual message. He then explained the way the Armenian Church views Icons and Holy Pictures.
