28 October 2105. On Wednesday evening Ambassador Martin Huth visited His Holiness in Antelias, in the presence of Dr Bedros Karajerjian, President of the Executive Council of the Catholicosate.

After an overview of the situation in Syria and Lebanon, His Holiness Aram I drew the attention of the Ambassador to the Armenian community in Syria and thanked him for the statement of the President of Germany on the 100^th Anniversary of the Armenian genocide.
