23 October 2015. On Friday morning the members of the Board and the General Director of the Foundation from New York, Mrs Irina Lazarian, met with His Holiness Aram I at the Main Hall of his residence.

Mrs Lazarian first thanked Catholicos Aram I for his support of the Howard Karaguezian foundation over the years, and briefed him on their planned activities and projects. The Catholicos thanked the members for their visit, and he urged them to provide further assistance to the Armenians in Syria, who are suffering because of the current violence in their country.
