His Holiness Aram I leaves for Athens

18 October, 2015. On Sunday evening His Holiness Aram I left for Athens upon the invitation of the government of Greece to take part in the conference on “Religious and Cultural Pluralism & Peaceful Coexistence in the Middle East” with the participation of Christian and Muslim leaders.

 

Catholicos Aram I arrived in Athens with His Beatitude John X Yazigi, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Of Antioch And All The East. The ambassadors of Lebanon and Armenia, as well as the Prelate and the leadership of the Armenian community in Greece, met and welcomed the two spiritual leaders at the airport.

 

 

His Holiness Aram I received the newly elected committee of the Armenian Church University Students Association (ACUSA)

 

Antelias – 16 October 2015. On Friday evening the members of the new ACUSA committee met with His Holiness Aram I, together with their advisor, Rev. Neshan Lakhoyan. After hearing their proposed programme, His Holiness Aram I shared his concern regarding the widening gap between the youth, the Church and the community. He then invited the committee to plan activities that would engage their members in the life of the Church and the community.
