On Thursday morning His Holiness Aram I received a delegation of 20 persons representing the European branches of the organization, accompanied by Pastors Meguerditch Karageuzian and Sebouh Terzian of the Armenian Evangelical Church.

After His Holiness welcomed the delegation, he explained the preoccupations of the Churches in the region and asked the members of the delegation to help work to strengthen Christian presence in the Middle East. He suggested that the representatives of ACO give priority to maintaining the Church schools and providing humanitarian assistance to the large number of needy families.
