His Holiness Aram I Honours Mr Krikor Mahseredjian as a Knight of Cilicia

4 February 2015. The ceremony was held on Wednesday evening at the Main Hall of the Catholicossate, in the presence of the Ambassadors of Armenia to Lebanon, of Lebanon to the United Arab Emirates, clergy who have served as Catholical Vicars of the Diocese of UAE and Qatar, representatives of the Armenian Community from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and the family and friends of Krikor Mahseredjian.

 

After the official welcome, Mr. Hrayr Soghomonian, member of the Central Committee of the Diocese of UAE & Qatar, and the Ambassador of Lebanon to the UAE spoke of Mr. Mahseredjian’s service to the Church and the community and his role as benefactor. His Holiness Aram I thanked Mr. Mahseredjian for his contribution to the construction of the St. Holy Martyrs Church in Abu Dhabi and to other projects of Catholicosate. Rev. Mesrob Sarkissian, the current Catholical Vicar of the Diocese, read the pontifical letter awarding Mr. Mahseredjian the insignia of Cilician Knighthood.

 

The evening concluded with the speech of Krikor Mahseredjian, who thanked His Holiness Aram I and said that he will continue serving the church and the community with the same commitment.
