His Holiness Aram I, a President of the MECC, was unable to attend the recent Executive Committee meeting of the Middle East Council of Churches, so he sent his suggestions to the Committee in writing. Dr. Jean Salmanian, the representative of the Catholicosate, read Catholicos Aram I’s letter to the Committee, in which he strongly supported the decision to keep humanitarian assistance as its priority.
