On Sunday 2 June 2013, during the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Norayr Ashekian ordained among the students of the seminary six Subdeacons and eleven Acolytes. After the ordination he explained the significance of these two ministries within the diaconate of the Church.  

At the end of the Holy Liturgy, the new Acolytes and Subdeacons, accompanied by the Bishop, and the Directorate of the Seminary met with His Holiness Aram I for his Blessings.
