During the week Catholicos Aram I held several meeting with religious and political personalities.
Jean-Louis Kordahi, a former member of the Lebanese government, met with him to discuss projects related to the property of the Catholicosate in Byblos and issues linked to the postponement of presidential elections in Lebanon.
Archbishop Rafael Minassian, Prelate of the Armenian Catholic Church, informed His Holiness of thei activities of his church in Armenia as well as their planned conference on “Christian Communication in Armenia: Organization and Networking.” The Archbishop asked His Holiness Aram I to send his representative to the conference.
The Governor of Bergstrasse in Germany, Matthias Wilkes, and the Honorary Ambassador of Germany to Armenia, Dr Steven Brian Fera, visited His Holiness Aram I to discuss issues related to the 100th Anniversary Commemorations of the Armenian Genocide.
