Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Metropolitan of Mount Lebanon, visited His Holiness Aram I on behalf of the newly installed Syrian Orthodox Patriarch, Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, of Antioch and All the East. The Metropolitan conveyed the greetings of the Patriarch and expressed the solidarity of their Church with the Armenian people on the eve of the 100th Anniversary commemoration.
Metropolitan George Saliba also briefed Catholicos Aram I on the recent commemorations of the massacre of the members of their community by Ottoman Turkey.
