On Thursday 13 March 2014, His Holiness Aram I received Minister Abou Faour, accompanied by Hagop Pakradouni Member of Parliament and Ziad Chaya, Director of the Office of the Ministry.

After discussing the situation in Lebanon, particularly the difficulties of the newly appointed government, Catholicos Aram I asked the minister, within the framework of governmental subsidies, to pay special attention to the Azounieh Hospital, the Elderly Home and all other social institutions belonging to the community.

At the end of the meeting, Minister Faour thanked the Catholicos for the constructive conversation and promised to respond positively to his request.
