The newly appointed Executive Committee of the World Council of Churches met at the Ecumenical Institute Bossey, 7-12 February 2014. The main agenda was to study the decisions and recommendations of the 10th Assembly held in Busan (South Korea).Ā Archbishop Nareg Alemezian as a member of the Executive committee and its Programme Executive committee Committee discussed priorities for the next 8 years and participated in preparing a plan of action.
On Sunday, members of the Executive Committee prayed with local congregations, and on Monday met the WCC staff at the Ecumenical Centre.
The next meeting of the Executive Committee will be held in November 2014.
