CELEBRATING THE NAME DAY OF HIS HOLINESS ARAM I

The first Independence of the republic of Armenia, celebrated on May 28th, is simultaneously the name day of His Holiness Aram I, who was ordained on the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Armenia and named after the founder of the first Republic of Armenia, Aram Manougian.

 

On May 28th, 2020, a gathering took place in the Main Hall of the Catholicosate where the Cilician Brothers celebrated the name day and Rev. Fr. Avedik Der Garabedian delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of the brotherhood. In turn, His Holiness expressed his gratitude and commended the dedicated service of the clergy, serving in the Catholicosate or throughout the Prelacies.
