On Saturday, January 4th, 2020, His Holiness Aram I received Toufic Baaklini, President of the “In Defense of Christians” (IDC) organization, accompanied by Alexis Moukarzel, IDC Representative in Lebanon.

Based in Washington, IDC includes representatives from various state, political, religious and non-governmental organizations and advocates for the protection and preservation of Christians and Christianity in the Middle East. His Holiness Aram I is closely knowledgeable of the organization and its president, as well as has participated and delivered his message on the organization’s inaugural conference.
